I absolutely loved my stay at this charming hotel! The views from my large, well-equipped room were breathtaking, making my stay truly memorable. However, the constant reminder of payment upon check-in did put a slight damper on things.
This hotel is in the most perfect location, with steps away from the Cathedral. The rooms had a few issues like uncontrollable shower fallout, low wc privacy, trailing TV wires, and a coffee machine that had to be set up on the floor. The noise from builders' work, which will continue for another 18-24 months, was noticeable. However, the price was fair for the quality provided.
Staying at the hotel for two nights was lovely. The rooms had a very comfortable bed and a cute little terrace attached to the wall, offering a view of the cathedral. The service was provided by amazing caring people, especially in this family-run hotel. The location was fantastic, close to a major Game of Thrones filming location, and having the cathedral nearby added to the European feel. The dining experience was delightful with a welcome bottle of wine and delicious Welsh pastries. The facilities were in an unusual building, nicely decorated, providing a plentiful and delicious breakfast with eggs cooked fresh.
